Booklet (2mb)
In 2008 the world celebrates the 100th birthday of Olivier Messiaen.
an outstanding contemporary composer whose musical genius synthesized toward "world music" in a pioneering way. Messiaen's work goes places no one had gone before or since, and today he can arguably still be seen as the most visionary among artists. He found inspiration also from Balinese Music and Hindu and Buddhist thought and for this alone we see a good reason to introduce this great composer to Cambodian society. An accompanying assistance to this presentation will be supplied by documentations, films and talks.
